WEEHAWKEN, N.J.—TrueFort, the application behavior analytics company, today announced the formation of its Advisory Board comprised of some of the most influential C-level executives in cyber security, financial and communications services. The new Board members bring experience from AT&T, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, LPL Financial, Palo Alto Networks, Trend Micro and Zscaler, and will provide strategic business guidance for the company.

Dr. Edward G. Amoroso is CEO of TAG Cyber, a global cyber security advisory, training, consulting, and media services company supporting major organizations across the world. Ed recently retired from AT&T, beginning his career in Unix security at Bell Labs and culminating as SVP/CSO from 2004 to 2016. He was elected AT&T Fellow in 2010. Ed has been Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the Stevens Institute of Technology for the past three decades. He is also Distinguished Research Professor in the Center for Cyber Security at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and Senior Advisor at the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University. He previously served on the Board of Directors for M&T Bank and the U.S. NSA Advisory Board.
Lane Bess, Principal and Founder of Bess Ventures and Advisory. Lane is a proven technology company builder who has built three billion dollar companies in Internet security and has been a key investor in many notable tech companies that have entered the public markets. Lane helped obtain funding and served as CEO of Palo Alto Networks (PANW) leading to its IPO. He was also instrumental in building Zscaler (ZS), an innovator and leader in cloud-based Internet security services. Prior, he was President at Trend Micro and helped establish it as a global security technology competitor. Lane understands the full landscape and relevance of security technology and the path to scale.

Scott Seese, Managing Director and Chief Information Officer for LPL Financial, the largest independent broker-dealer in the United States with $684 billion in advisory and brokerage assets and a network of over 16,000 financial advisors. Prior to LPL Financial, he served as CIO for the global consumer business unit at American Express where he was responsible for leveraging technology to support revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, and cost reduction. He has also been CIO and Vice President, Information Technology at eBay, and held senior technology roles at Bank of America and GE.
